Maternity Session

Recently find out you are expecting an addition to the family? It's never too early to reach out about scheduling your maternity session. Here are 5 things you can do to prepare for your maternity session.

  1. I recommend scheduling your maternity session between 30-36 weeks ( or 24-28 weeks if you are expecting multiples).
  2. What to bring: Your partner, your kids/pet, sonogram images, water and multiple outfits if time allows.
  3. What to wear: As always, I recommend earth tones and a neutral color palate. If your session is outdoors, a flowing dress can help create movement in your images and keep you comfortable. This is a time to celebrate how amazing your body is, you are making a person after all. Whatever makes you feel your most confident, wear that!
  4. Relax and Hydrate the day of the session, especially if you have been managing swelling.
  5. I dont know how to pose with my bump... Don't worry Momma, I got you! Having had 2 pregnancies ( one twin), I know first hand how "awkward" moving in general can be. I will provide you ( and your spouse/family) with gentle directions to create authentic images to capture these fleeting days.
